Tee off for Malawi

Playing golf for a good cause – that is what the Abenberg Golf Club together with MOYO-AfM (formerly Ansbach for Malawi) will make possible at a charity tournament with evening gala on September 19. The club will donate all proceeds from the tournament to the necessary construction at an elementary school in the East African country of Malawi.

The volunteers have put together a large program for the event: In addition to the actual tournament (4-way Texas Scramble), there will be playful competitions. At the evening gala that will follow, live music, food and drink and an auction will be waiting for the guests.

MOYO-AfM has been supporting schools, hospitals and development projects in Malawi and the Mulanje region there for over five years. On site in Ansbach, the association is regularly active with fundraising campaigns, information events and school programs. The Golf Club Abenberg supports and promotes the project on a non-profit basis.
